Singlespeed & Fixed Gear"I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five.
Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)
Head tube is 275 mm, huge by today's standards. I think ETT is 546 mm. Keep in mind that it custom.
If I were to get a Roubaix it would have a much lesser head tube, and ETT would probably be a bit more than 546mm for me. I suppose if I wanted a head tube in between the Roubaix and yours I would need to go custom to succeed. Most of my experience thus far is with quill, but I've watched pros and see that I might need to avoid a headset that is too low.
Not sure about any recommended headtube to steerer ratios at given angles and sizes, but ratios might help. In terms of single speed, the Langster might bring up the same concern.
mine and my wife's. The purple one used to be the colour of the wheels but i painted the frame. didn't want to respoke the wheels so i left them the original colour and i think it turned into a nice cotton candy combo. the local bike shop hooked us up with a sweet gold chain.
That's the longest dadgum chain I've ever seen. She's got wheelbase for days!
Nice bikes.
thanks. Yeah i took apart the crank and sanded down the chainring stepping up from 60 to 800 grit to remove all the pits and rust. guy at the bike store said it was really rare besides tandem bikes to have a chain that long.

Nice CCM. I didn't know they made threadless adapters for 21.1 stems.
