My name is MoAlpha and I'm a mammal. The nipple (whole pec area, actually) issue is key, especially with wool.

Weird, I'm exactly the opposite, I experience more skin irritation with synthetics than with wool (though I still prefer synthetics in warmer, e.g. above 65F or so, weather). I wear wool socks year round, though, since I tend to get hot spots with synthetics and wool feels fine on my feet even in hot weather.

If my jersey is loose then the pockets are loose and the stuff I carry in them will flop around and hang down low and look stupid.

Wool for me is a shirt under a tight shell layer in cold weather and I don't wear synthetics under those conditions. My wool jerseys are 30 yrs old and I don't use them much. I get occasional raw tits from my synthetic jerseys too.

I've only got one jersey so far, and it's fairly snug on me. I've gone down a shirt size to a 1X and it fits a bit better now than when I first got it. Whenever I order some more jerseys I'll likely order one size up.

I prefer tight - but I tend to put on about 10 lbs over the winter.
This makes my race fit jerseys a bit too tight...so have have to wear my "fat" jerseys until I lose the weight later in the season.

Tight. Getting nipple ripple sucks.

Tight. Flapping material is annoying to me.

Wore them loose until I got an Assos. Now I'm a convert to form fitting.

For me, "tight" often means "short" which I hate. I guess I'm not flexible enough to reach back to high pockets.

Since I have a bit of a spare time, I like them a bit loose but not baggy.

Wearing flappy clothing will increase resistance.
Tight will better.

For fast rides I prefer tight. For any other kind of rides, I prefer perfect fit -- not tight, not loose.

I like them semi snug, not hanging or baggy...too tight and my training donut program doesn't work well.

When I was a runner, I preferred skin tight jerseys and loose shorts. but over years of cycling, I switched to "a bit loose". Some how, my jerseys are skin tight again. My weight remains stable while the muscle/fat ratio slowly changes. The info on size inflation is depressing, but maybe this is the Summer when the ol body will tone up. Don

Just loose enough so I can move without ripping any fabric.

I wear long-sleeve cotton t-shirts. Regardless of what the marketing experts advertise, I think they keep me cooler in the summer. The sweat they collect gets cooled off in the 15mph breeze I create while riding, therefore keeping me cool. In the winter I just wear a polypro long underwear layer as a base with the t-shirt over it, maybe a light jacket over that, and adjust layers as I (or the day) warms up. I tried cycling jerseys once but did not feel they were of any advantage, and I hate carrying stuff in the rear pocket of a cycling jersey. I'm also not obsessed with being as 'aero' as possible; I figure a little more 'drag' will get me a better workout for the miles I ride
