Today is the last day of the Nashbar giant moving sale (or so they claim) and FREE SHIPPING NO MINIMUM! Socks, gloves, other stuff is dirt cheap and some of the items have good reviews (crochet gloves for $3.50 have excellent reviews, 2" socks in bright colors for $2). If you stick to buying products that have good reviews, you probably won't be disappointed. Disclaimer: YMMV.

It's only for select sellers, the 3 I found of note were bikewagon, theproscloset, and backcountry. There might be more cycling related sellers but I'm not a big Ebay guy.

Garneau Lemmon 2 summer weight jerseys in limited colors and sizes can occasionally be found heavily discounted to $30 or less on Amazon recently. I got one for $30 last week in green, size medium. At the moment I see a couple of 3X size, one in black, another in bright yellow, from the same vendor I got mine from -- Bicycle Addiction, fulfilled by Amazon. Mine arrived Monday after ordering Saturday.
Very comfortable while riding. Haven't worn it enough to have an opinion on durability. Not the perfect jersey but not bad for the discounted prices of $30 or less in limited colors/sizes. I wouldn't pay the full $60 or so price for one. My LBS has one my size for $40, which I might get.
Cons:

- Nice very lightweight jersey for the money. The main material is wicking fabric but feels like ultra-thin fine cotton or merino wool -- it's the closest thing I've seen yet in a poly wicking fabric that feels like natural fabric.
- Mesh vented materials along the side up to the underarms, collar/neck and smaller of the four rear pockets. The mesh works well, very comfortable on a hot, muggy, sweaty day last week.
- Subtle reflective accents -- over rear pockets, very subtle arm hem reflective accents, and LG logo on collar.
- Full length zipper with left hand pull tab.
- Good pockets, including smaller middle pocket on top of larger middle pocket, no retention devices -- rubbery seam, zipper, etc. Center main pocket has diaphragm hole for media device cord.
- Shorty sleeve, fits just below the shoulder, doesn't extend to bicep.
- Snug but not aero fit. I got a medium and I'm just at the border between needing a medium and large. At 5'11" and 160 lbs with a long torso this jersey is close to being a bit too short, but didn't ride up and expose skin, so I don't feel any need to get a large instead.
Cons:
- Sweat prints through, more like cotton than most wicking fabric. None of my other jerseys or wicking fabric t-shirts prints through like this. But the material is ultra-thin and it was an exceptionally hot and muggy day when I tried it. I don't usually perspire heavily but did that day. The jersey dried fairly quickly as soon as I was indoors.
- Fabric isn't as odor resistant as I'd hoped. It's about like my other Garneau and generic cycling jerseys, despite the different fabric. It retained body odors from two hours of a sweaty ride. In comparison my relatively low priced Champion wicking t-shirts and pricey Pearl Izumi Transfer base layer sleeveless shirt don't retain odors like this. The Pearl Izumi Transfer "minerale" material in particular can be worn several times before washing -- it really is that good at resisting odor, which is helpful on tours, camping, etc.

My Garmin soft strap HR monitor has died so I was looking around for a replacement. Most places are $70. Surprised to find it at Amazon for $30.99. Like Amazon, I have no idea how long the price will stay like that.

Thanks for the heads up. I paid that much just for the soft strap in early June. Considering the straps themselves don't seem to last me very long, I went ahead and bought the sensor and strap combo to keep as a spare.

The old style strap works better, and costs only $20

Maybe there's an ounce more of accuracy wearing a chest strap, but for me it's just not worth the discomfort that I at least imagine. A Scosche unit has been working well for me, and I understand Wahoo has one now too which is supposed to be pretty darn good.

Once I put the chest strap on I literally forget it's there. I was used to it pretty quickly, it must depend on body type or whatever. I had the opposite reaction with the Scosche. Just didn't like something up on my arm like that. I think the more important thing is that you have something that you continuously wear that gives reliable data. As long as there's not a lot of dropped connections or crazy high or low measurements and from what I've heard the Scosche is one of the best out there.

Edit to add: The Wahoo RPM Speed Sensor is $30.59. I don't know if that's a good price for the standalone sensor, since I bought the RPM speed & cadence bundle that is typically cheaper than getting the two sensors separately.
