Parking at South End of Pine Creek Rail Trail?
Plan on a overnighter on Pine Creek Rail Trail and looking for a safe place for overnight parking on the south end of the trail.
Any input would be appreciated
Thank You

Just don't leave any valuables in your car and I think you will be safe for just one night parking on the street in a well-occupied area. There is a residential area right at the southern end. IIRC, I rode down Seminary St.
How far up are you planning to go? I did the trail last year during an Erie to Philly tour. Started in the north at U.S. 6 and rode to the southern terminus. IMO, the northern end is more interesting/scenic. Startled a young bear that was along the edge of the creek. He jumped into the creek and swan across. If you start at the northern end I am pretty certain Pine Creek Outfitters in Ansonia would let you park at their place (likely for a small fee.). From there, it's a short ride to the trail on U.S. 6, which has a good shoulder. Wellsboro also seemd like a pretty safe place the couple of times I stayed there when in the area.

Official parking lot at southern train terminus
Official parking lot is available at the southern terminus in Jersey shore. Nice Publix toilets and immediately next door to a good grocery store. I've parked multiple overnights there many a time. As a courtesy, I call the local police office in Jersey shore and tell them my car make and model and licensee plate.

We camped at the Tiadaghton Campground. I believe it is free but requires reservations. We did not reserve but there were sites available. Beautiful creek side sites with potable water and rest rooms. The campground is 52 miles from the southern terminus.

If you want to camp in one of the state-managed places, you need a permit. And from what I have read, they are in different districts, so you have to make sure to call the correct district.
There is a map you can download that shows the names and locations of camping areas:

Here is another resource. It explains the permit issue:

You might want to confirm that any water sources are functional this time of year.
If you can only manage a short ride for weather or whatever reasons, you could ride to Waterville and then head north a few miles up Little Pine Creek Rd. to Little Pine State Park. A few hills, but not bad at all. The bar/restaurant just before the entranced to the park's campground is pretty good.
