Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

nice. Do you throw his toy and then chase him around the house? I hear people do that.

In other news I hit my goal today. Then I saw this. Who says 15 inflatables is too many?

Blarg. Still undecided on the whole "should I ride while I'm in VA?" thing. Forecast looks... [insert banned emoji shrug]. This is the current forecast for the full days that I'll be there -

I wish that it were either better, so that I could move forward without reservations, or worse, so that I could just skip it and not bother packing all the kit and whatnot. What does VA resident Dan333SP think of this outlook?

I use Rouvy (prefer the real roads) got paired calibrated, and a test ride in. First impression, this thing is amazing!!!!
I tried Zwift's one free ride last year and was not impressed, but that was with a dumb RockNRoll.

Hey Stoney! Happy holidays!

We just got back from NJ. My SiL’s family got me two cool bike-centric gifts, a bicycle pizza cutter and a bicycle-chain coffee mug.

Have you done a “meetup” ride yet? New feature. We did one last week, it works as advertised.

Howdy, Herbie

I did. It replaces my old ungainly Zipp bag, and it's awesome.

I just did the same. The Zipp bag is a bit much most of the time. Maybe ok to take on the road for a camp or stage race (if I ever do one of those again), but too big almost all the time.
