My lovely Brava, in all its celeste Ishiwata glory. It really is a nice rider.

1990 Backroads Mistaya which was a private label touring bike made by Fuji for the guided tours company. Identical to a Fuji Saratoga except for the downtube shift bosses. Has served well for many 2-7 day tours around the midwest.

I love seeing a brand for the first time. Always neat- and this is definitely no exception. Killer paint.

Like I said, I have no idea who Fabio was, or is, but my guess is he might have worked at Colnago at some point because the paint looks very Master-like. At least that's what I like to think! This might be the only example of one in the States, because I've never seen another in spite of searching. I would love to find out more about Fabio Barecci, both the man and the brand, but I've sort of lost hope after years of searching.
Thanks again!

Bob looks much better from a distance. The frame is a battered survivor. Decals are new.
Cheers.

Great thread idea!
'B' for beautiful bikes by all. Neato to see and read the brief storylines.
I possibly could add here but some are 'B' level for boring or beater and posted enough elsewhere. Cheers

B is for Bob.
Bob Jackson circa 1974-1975
We are inseparable

A few tweaks have been made since this image was taken, cable housings, bar tape and such. I really need a new picture.
I wonder how many miles this bike has seen. Could it be 100,000 miles? However many it is, it is a large number. It is still as solid as ever.
