I was looking back at some old threads this morning and found this Addiction criticism from back in the day when some people were trying to figure it out. Hilarious. ![lol](images/smilies/lol.gif)
![lol](images/smilies/lol.gif)
Pcad wrings his hands over his new Addict that's coming in.
Pcad gets his new Addict and gloats.
A bunch of juvenile delinquent loser bike weenies hijack the thread and turn it into utter drool.
Pcad gets another, identical Addict, one year newer, and is blase about it.
The kids won't leave.
So it goes.

I find that post is as valid today as it was the day I wrote it!! It’s still hard to believe such a group of meatheads could be together on one forum at one time. From what I’ve read here today that tradition seems to continue headed up by the famous Billy D “THE SHERIFF” whom on more than one occasion would send me into the kingdom of the banned🙄(although mostly deserved) With so many newbies here it seems like a lot of good material that will once again find me on my favorite list....those serving time🤗🤗🤗

I feel that pain. We had three days of rain followed by two days of sun - the snowbanks and sheets of ice have retreated, but damn it if they haven't revealed some beat-to-**** roads. The road patchin' crews are going to have a long, busy spring and cyclists and drivers alike are going have to stay on their toes for a while.

I ride all winter at 25° and up in some pretty good winds, too. But come March and it’s 44° with a stiff NW wind and it’s so cold I have to force myself to go out.

I'm putting together some routes to save to the Wahoo for Williamsburg, looking at Strava Heat Maps and routes on RideWithGPS, etc. I don't consider myself a wuss when it comes to riding on the road, but some of the roads that people ride on seem... questionable. First, a "bike lane" in the vicinity of the in-law's house is essentially an 24" shoulder with a cyclist stenciled every now and then. I'm fine with riding those. But people are suggesting these 45mph roads (where everyone does 55) that wind through the tress (limited visibility) with little to no shoulder? Yeah, I'm not so sure about that.

We don't need no stinkin' fourth hand. I suppose I would like it if I ever tried it. The third hand, purchased in the 70s, still works just fine. I do have a set of quicklink pliers which I like a lot.
