Now, there's the DNP freewheel, or you can get the larger megarange freewheel. The only thing is that you'll definitely see an improvement in hill climbing, but nothing for top end speed. My Wasp need speed, as the low end is definitely low enough. Lol!

My DNP freewheel arrived yesterday, but I'm too busy with work to do the installation before Sunday. I'll post a pic or 2 then,...

I have this on my Vybe. I have beaten the crap out of it for over two years without any issues. Very reliable in both poor weather and ground conditions. Definitely gives you the extra gearing you want. There is a specific removal tool for it because the threads are not as deep as stock, but a guy at a LBS removed it once using a table vise, so imho you won't need the tool.

Here it is,... Now I just need to wait until Sunday for my test ride! Oh, and the freewheel is a bit more towards the frame, so the limiting screw needs adjustment.

The freewheel swap was a total success,...she's a bit faster, and wonderful to ride. Now she just needs a new set of folding pedals, and some fenders (the tires I installed are too fat for the stock fenders that came with the bike).

Just so you know, I personally have nothing against the brommie, but it's just not for me. I'd be upgrading it till bankruptcy!

Two questions. What tires are those? I like a thicker tire too.
And maybe you can answer this. The handlebar stem is not perfectly aligned. Is it just a matter of loosening that inner bolt and twisting the collar?
Your bike is beautiful. Do you like the ride better than the Curve? On my first ride I think I did. It’s rainy now so I can’t take it out for a long ride like I want to.

As for the stem, you should be able to loosen the bolts and adjust the handlepost. I have my bike at work, so I can't really check until Monday for you. I'll let you know.
I'd probably like the Wasp better if I didn't have 2 issues I'm about to have corrected. #1 is the rear wheel seems to have bad bearings, so I'm taking it to my bike shop for a check-up. #2 is the brakes. They're too mushy. I'm going to see if there's a way to upgrade. Again, I'll ask my LBS for some recommendations. They've never steered me wrong.
