It has the word “Nervex” on the BB shell. The lug work is identical to Riva Sport found here:
Vélo RIVA SPORT- Dunlop 1949 - Le blog de velosvintage.over-blog.com
In 1956, Ateliers de la Rive, a company based on the outskirts of St Etienne, had two types of tubing the “Debutante” and the “Vitus.” The latter was double butted. Since Riva Sport went all out and had Brampton design a 3 speed hub to rival the English Sturney Archer, doesn’t add up they would use “Debutante” lower type steel especially with Nervex lugs.

The tires are 700 x 33 sold by Rivendell. They are comfortable and easy rolling. I like the Blue version which has more flat protection.

My bike is the first one with the 3-speed on this thread. I got it rolling nicely and it went on the Lake Pepin 3-speed Tour. After that it didn't see a lot of service until a gentleman from Mankato Minnesota insisted I sell it to him.

ACIER DIAMANT is a marque belonging to Etablissements Verot-Perrin (Stronglight)
the logo is a shooting star/comet symbol and is usually place on the backside of the arm out in the middle
