Anyone doing the Trek challenge on Strava
I hit my 100 miles, so I followed the link to redeem for a t-shirt and I haven’t gotten any confirmations and the redeem button is still on Strava. Did that redeem button go away for anyone? Did anyone get a email or anything from Trek?
Now I just need to get to 500mi so I can win that new bike!

I have had the same experience. Others have gotten a notice that the shirts will be at their LBS in September but I haven’t. I wonder if I have some setting on my iPhone that is blocking a pop-up or something?

The real challenge of Strava challenges is redeeming the prize.
There's always some catch or issue or hidden agenda which in the end, makes it not worth it.
This one seems like a ploy to drive foot traffic into Trek resellers.

I had a problem redeeming on my phone, but no such problems when I tried again on the desktop. Got through the name, contact, size, LBS selection, etc and got to the screen telling me to expect the shirt in Sept. Sooooo try again. On a computer.

I'm a bit cranky with Strava at the moment. The local leaderboards were getting a bit dramatic, so I decided to quit them. In the past, one could do this while keeping activities public; at some point, they changed the settings so that the only way to opt-out of leaderboards is to set activities so that they are either visible only to followers or private.
Both of these settings also preclude one from participating in challenges, so I will not be getting a cool T-shirt or those Rapha patches.

I just picked up my shirt. The shirt is nothing special, I guess. 50/25/25 polyester/cotton/rayon, woolish-looking gray with a forgettable logo. I was actually more happy with the pamphlet that came with, not exactly a catalog, more like a collection of magazine articles featuring different Trek racers and other "brand ambassadors" and their bikes. It's sort of like an old pre-internet catalog but the old splash pages in between the bikes grew to overwhelm the bike pages. I like it.

I like my Trek t-shirt. I've worn it a few times, but it comes in real handy to mop up sweat when I'm on the trainer.

Also should note this got me into the store at the same time as my wife so we got to talk about what kind of bike the 5yo will get for his 6th bday... I see through your marketing tricks, Trek, I'm just going along with it!
I guess there were different shirts for higher mileage?

I pedal in my sleep...
Yes, different color shirts. I should have gotten the red shirt for crossing 500 miles but they sent me a gray one. No complaints though, a free shirt is a free shirt.

I got my red 500 mile shirt a month or so ago. Nice basic tshirt. More red/orange than just red. Magazine was cool, too. No secret agenda that I could see.

I bought a few maintenance items I needed while I was there to pick up my shirt. I knew what this was when I did the challenge. I happily played along.
I got a free shirt. That store got my business that day. Everyone wins.

Darn, too late to redeem. I didn't even pay attention to the free T-Shirt. I did it for the digital badge and to rack up mileage.
