AIDS/Lifecycle 2020 Rider 1107
I lost my brother Scott to HIV/AIDS May 6, 2006. He was 43. I have ridden AIDS Lifecycle three times now in his memory and to prevent others from experiencing loss of loved one. 2020 will be my fourth ride. I had to miss riding in 2017 and 2019 due to injury/recovery.
My fundraising page is here and you can read about my reason for riding. Any donation is greatly appreciated. $5? more? I'll be extremely grateful.
ALC2020: Ms. Shawn Schmitz - AIDS/LifeCycle
The ride benefits the LA LGBT Center https://lalgbtcenter.org/ and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation https://www.sfaf.org and the programs they have for those who need assistance from testing to medication or support groups. The LA LGBT center just opened a facility for youth and seniors who need housing!
This is video I created to honor my brother prior to 2016 ride.
I have other videos using my GoPro on my channel.
Thank you for any consideration of donation.

I last did ride in 2018 then had to have shoulder surgery so didn't ride in 2019

Training is coming along great. Between outdoor and Zwift I have nearly 800 miles so far this year. Got my team kit last week and was able to wear it. https://www.tofighthiv.org/goto/Shawn1107
