My main concern is bugs, but the wind alone is enough to be bothersome at times. I've been really forgetful this early riding season, and I recently went out without glasses. I realized it about a half mile away from home, but decided not to turn back because there was no risk of bugs in the eyeball. But yeah - cold wind made my eyes water the whole ride. Shoulda done went back.

I actually bought some iron man sunglasses from target. They were 25 bucks, and really light.

Wow. Excel has a demo R5 Disc frameset in a 56 for $1350, including the BB (~$100 value). Someone should buy it. Buy it now.

I used to do that. And then one day I bought a pair of Ray Bans for half price--the princely sum of $50. I had them for 20 years and then gave them away.

My casual glasses are Ray Bans. I think that I got them for a buck and change at REI after a sale price, a gift card and leftover dividends. Regardless, I adhere to the "you'll take better care of nice/expensive glasses" theory. I go through ****ty glasses pretty quickly, but nice ones tend to stick around.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
Well it finally happened. They issued a stay-at-home order for Denton County. Basically any surrounding DFW county is following suit from Dallas County's earlier decision.
Like I said earlier, my place is running business as usual with the understanding that we fall under essential services to the Energy industry. So not much changes for me.

I have traditionally been an Oakley man. Of the current three pairs I have, they have been around for a long time scratch free as they get used, but not knocked about.
For every day, I started buying the Knockaround brand sunglasses because they are 15 or 20 bucks a pair and you can kind of get whatever the hell you want and not worry about them. One pair snapped, but that was fine. They are really not top notch quality, but I am not paying top notch quality prices.

Is there any harm in aerobic exercise with lingering cold symptoms?
I've had a nagging cough ever since I got over a cold and I'm trying to decide between a nice and easy fixed gear spin on the bike path vs a more intense ride on the roadie.

sbxx enlightened me many years ago. I spend 3-4 bucks for a pair, and don't give two Coors whether they get a little scratched.

I have 2 pairs of prescription sun/safety glasses, these are permeating. Also a nice pair of Nike sports wear glasses transition no line bifocals.
Most of the time I use my everyday glasses.
