We won't get a check, but our daughter will. She lives hand to mouth on a doctoral training grant in Ireland, but only because we are stingy with her for her own good. I think she should donate at least a portion of that check, but my wife is against raising the subject. She's usually correct about such things.

The worst thing about cell phones to me is what they do to people. Mrs John even brings hers to a restaurant sometimes, it makes it like eating alone for me.

When I was a kid, pork and sauerkraut was the traditional New Years Day lunch. Later in life, I used to make it in stoneware crocks in the root cellar.

My dad was an Angels fan. He took me to a game when they played their home games at Dodger Stadium. I think it was 1963. I remember it well, there was a man with a jet pack who took off from home plate and landed in center field. I was amazed.

And it's Cipro to boot. I did some research, wondering if I could do 10 hours between doses, this fist time, so I don't have to wake up at midnight. I was getting injections and drips three times a day. An antibacterial and an antibiotic. And in the early days, diclofenaco for pain. Now I'm down to paracetamol for pain. And 250 mg Cipro twice a day. For a week I guess.
And while we're here, one of the best things about being out of the hospital is having full use of my right arm. No catheter living there anymore.

Six weeks does NOT sound correct. One week is likely plenty. If you washed it out really well and they irrigated it, I wonder if you even need any antibiotics but do advise you follow your doctor's recommendations. For your own sanity, you may want to call and ask for clarification.

Cipro is a really bad choice for you. It has lost almost all its gram positive activity due to antibiotic resistance. Most of us are avoiding that class of medicines (fluoroquinolones) due to slight but real risk of tendon and nerve injury. No joke. Ask your local pharmacist for some cephalexin (Keflex) 500mg 3x/day for 7 days. That’s what the local ER usually gives. Way better choice than cipro.

And I would have to get it from him. I don't even know how to find him.

Yes the mask protects others and NOT the user. But people don't get it.
I heard that a significant percentage of Americans (1/3?) actually believe COVID19 was created in a lab. Sad!
