70's Atala w/ Campy Component

Hello all,

I have not heard of this brand so pretty new to me. I know Campagnolo is high quality. Looked in a few catalogs but could not locate the model.

Here is what the listing said:

CAMPAGNOLO COMPONENTS
SHIFTERS CAMPAGNOLO
FRONT DERAILLEUR CAMPAGNOLO PISTON MATCHBOOK
REAR DERAILLEUR CAMPAGNOLO VALENTINO
WHEELS MAVIX - MICHE COMPETITION HUBS
BRAKES SET (CALIPERS FRONT AND REAR ) BIANCHI DURAL SUPER RAPID 11.
GALLI CRITERIUM LEVERS BRAKE.

Thanks

Atala was a bicyle brand manufactured by Rizzato of Italy. They were, at one time, Italy's largest bicycle manufacturer and produced a full range of models, from children's bicycles up to pro models, with many prestigious victories. In general, they are well regarded but this is one of their entry level models, near or at the bottom of their 10 speed line. The Campagnolo parts are restricted to the shifting system and also entry level models that were not well regarded. It also looks like you might be dealing with tubular tyres. It could be an OK deal, depending on the price, but this is the type of bicycle that I generally advise those new to the sport to avoid.
