My Electra C1’s are getting new ......
I’ve ordered two sets of wheels for my Electra Cruiser 1’s .
The Black C1 will be getting the red wheels off the Matt Bark C1 , and the Matt Bark will be getting either anodized blue or green set .
The new rear wheels will be single speed with coaster Brake .
When I went to order my new wheelsets , I couldn’t find them on the wheel website Ive ordered From before .
I emailed them and they said they had a few rims left and I was able to place an order .
My black Electra wheelsets will be going on my old Huffy Cruiser and my old Schwinn Heavy Duty Cruiser . So my whole stable will be updated .
This is how they look now . Except for the Huffy , I’ll have to get a before picture when I get it down off the ceiling hooks in the garage .

I thinking of leaving the red wheels on the Matt Bark C1 . I put my Brooks b67 back on it this morning. Looks better and over a long ride , feels better too .
Also added a silver Electra rear rack .
I have a black after market rear rack like what’s on the black C1 , I’m trying to decide on which one to leave on it . The silver Electra rack or a black rear rack ?
Changed out the red ( look too much like pink ) composite pedals some red/black aluminum platform pedals .
Added a chopped chrome front fender .
I plan on putting the green wheels on the black C1 .

Nice. Electra's are my favorite bikes. I have one just like yours in Red with 24X3 wheels/tires. Mine has a lot of mods too.

I’m constantly changing and accessorizing mine .
I’ve always wanted a Ghostrider , but waiting too long to get one . Maybe they’ll bring them back . I think they have 24x3 wheels/tires .
I just got back from a six mile ride on my matt bark . This afternoon I’ll be swapping the rear racks . As I look at my picture , I just don’t like the looks of the Electra rear rack . Doesn’t match the style of the bike IMO .

Changed out the rear racks .
After looking at the pictures of the bike with both racks , I definitely prefer the flat black to the Silver Electra .
I also put my black Brooks B67 on my Black C1 and swapped out the bottle cage for a black one , getting it ready for the new anodized green wheelset I have on the way . Will be here middle of next week .
Think I love working on them as much as I do riding them .
Added my rack back onto my Electra Fat Tire 7d and finally got rid of the twist grip shifter . It now has a button/thumb trigger shifter . Shifts so much better .

Updated Pics ,
fenders removed , and original Electra stem reinstalled .
Now that I’ve ordered new green anodized wheels for the black C1 , I’m digging the all black look .

New Wheelsets are due to arrive Monday . Once built , they had to came ground fro Cal. To Ga . Takes a while .
Meanwhile , today I got out a wheelset I’ve had but not used for over a year and decided to give them a try . They have a two speed kickback hub and I bought two sets when they were on sale .
I couldn’t adjust to the kickback shifting back then . I thought I’d give them another try and by utilizing a front brake for most of my braking , I was able to successfully ride the Matt Bark C1 today . Guess it’s technically a C2 now .
The wheels are silver and look pretty good on the Matt Bark .
I have enough sets of tires to where I can leave the wheels setup and swap them out when I feel like a change .

Got my new wheels today , finally , after almost two weeks of waiting .
I opened one box to check them out . It turned out to be the green set .
They look nice , except for the hubs I received. I was expecting Shimano , I got HiStops . ;( .
After searching around , I found that HiStops and KT seem to be the at least made by the same company. And I read that KT makes Shimano now . Since they’re all made in China now , I’m guessing ones about as good as the other . They may all be the same , ut with different names on the brake arm .
I read that the Shimano rebuild kit will fit the other two hubs and read bad reviews on the Shimano rebuild kits . Probably like a lot of things you buy now days . It’s a crap shoot on whether you get a good product or not .
Hope I got a couple of good ones .
If I’d know about the switch, I’d ordered. Single speed freewheeled hub and just relied on my front brakes .

New wheels on the Black C1 today . If the town next year has their St. Pattys Day parade , I may decorate this one to ride in it .
BTW , the HiStop rear hub worked good on its maiden voyage. As much as I rotate bikes , I shouldn’t have any problems with them , I hope .

Took the rear racks back off my C1’s this morning before I rode .
Although a rear rack is useful , the bikes look better without them .
