1980s(?) REI Novara Aspen 26er MTB - price?
I've got this posted in Central MD for $200 with no interest WHATSOEVER. Same day, i had a freaking TSUNAMI of interest in a 2014/15 MEKK Pinarolo road bike listed at $225. Admittedly, the MEKK was in great condition and the Aspen is not.
Any idea of the reasonable demand/price/worth of redoing cables, brakes, etc. to get in good riding condition???
TY in advance,
Kris

Still learning
If it needs an overhaul and new parts, it takes 6 or more hours of labor for a comprehensive overhaul. That's why a shop will charge $150 and up for an overhaul, which is far more work than a $50 tuneup. The parts, which can run $30 with cables, pads, cable housing, and another $60 for tires, tubes, rim tape.
Worth $50-$75 as is.
