I’ve noticed about 125 watts have gone missing over the past couple of months. Maybe the heat, maybe over-training, maybe just not feeling like putting in the work. I found about 80 of those watts tonight. It’s amazing to me how just how much difference a “good day” makes.

Road bike #2. It’s got lights and I usually ride it during the week. I try to leave by 545 or so in the morning and get back by 7. I originally bought it as a frame only from Bikesdirect about 12 years ago. Built it up with Ultegra 10s. It’s done very well for me. Has 28 rear tire which is notably more comfortable then the 25 on my Canondale.

Got a little busy yesterday, I got most of my miles in, then my new fork came in. I worked transferring the gear from the old bike to the new one last night. Here's how it looks.
I didn't trim any of the fork steerer off and I may not need to.
Its a bit of a mix of parts, mostly older Campagnolo, a few Shimano and a front wheel that has a vintage Phil Wood hub.
I will start tuning the fit tomorrow, hopefully it will be done in a couple of weeks.

My ride this morning took me into town by the ballpark.
I rode my old Hardrock that I’ve been working on again . I love the Maxxis Hookworms I had on before , but these 26x1.75 Panaracer tires are faster on the takeoff and faster coasting downhill. Easier pedaling overall , especially with the 32 tooth oval single chaInring making it a 1x7
Going down one hill I made it up to 22.5 mph . My average speed was 9.9 . Which is around what I do on my Schwinn Cross bikes .

Out early, hit it hard. Going to loosen up at the gym, then a nice swim in the pool.

Caught a break in the rain this morning. Grabbed my Roll with new Conti tires and took off .
Sprinkled the whole time I rode .
Glad I kept my consecutive ride days intact with 32 days .

I rode early this morning to get to 1000 miles, the temps are supposed to be in the upper 90's. Now its time to mow the lawn.
I rode the steel Gunnar today, after riding the carbon and Ti bike for the past 2 days, the ti and carbon bike feels plusher.
