25 mm diameter seatpost
I am having a difficult time finding a 25 mm diameter aluminum seat post for my Look KG281.
The Look original carbon seat post is old and starting slipping due to a poor 2 piece wedge shaped clamp.
I have tried anti slipping carbon paste but it still twists and moves vertically under force.
I am hoping an aluminum post will not be as smooth as the wedge clamps are very much so.
Thanks in advance..

However, below that listing is a 25mm American Classic post for $54 - I had a couple of these BITD - reasonably light, good two-screw angle setting and robust. I ultimately replaced them with a Chorus Ti post and an otherwise-identical Daytona steel post, but that was because I was on a bling quest, not that there was anything wrong with the AC posts. My only concern is that the one listed might not be long enough for a sloping TT frame (couldn't see length listed).
But i do think that eBay is the OPs best friend here - barring obvious trauma, there's not much that can go wrong with an Al seat post.

25's were never (drives cost) all that common (Frenchism) if you have a bike that needs one and you want to keep it I'd get a couple of them.

I got Campagnolo 25.0 seat posts from the same importer I got my AlAn screwed & glued frame & fork, that used them , in the 80's
Kalloy makes low cost seatposts from 25.0 mm & larger in 0.2 mm increments in aluminum ,
their finish is not highly polished which, in this situation may be an advantage..

No, at the bottom of your signature section there is a large round button with a red dot and ! in it. Hover over that and it says "report post"
