Huffy Cranbrook from Wally World, bought it yesterday. Have it on Craigslist to flip since there is a huge shortage on them right now. Even if it doesn't sell I wouldn't mind keeping it for a while. I like the blue color.
When I got back into riding in 2008 I had an 80's Raleigh Beach Cruiser like this. Rode it for 9 months or so until I figured I would keep going. Then bought a geared hybrid.

Here's my 1950's Ward Hawthorne, 3-Speed / BMX / Klunker. Did the rust patina myself, ground off the outer teeth of a Lamber Viscount crankset to make for a cool chainring guard, and just had loads of fun putting this bike together. Perfect chill neighborhood cruiser.

Thanks GeezyRider, FiftySix, tds101! I need a bit more time getting used to the coaster brake thing, but it's still super fun to ride!

Red Cruiser
This is the last Beach type Cruiser I did (~2011). It was an Electra Cruiser 1 (steel frame, single speed, 26in wheels) when I bought it. I kept the frame, front fork and seat post and replaced everything else. I converted the crank to a 3 piece and built new wheels with 24X3.0 tires on Brave Machine BMX rims. Rear hub is a Nexus 8 speed with a Roller Brake that has a huge heat sink. Shimano thought that would correct any brake fade due to overheating in heavy braking situations. Maybe it would, but I never experienced any roller brake fade even with the original non-heat sink version. Front disc hub and disc brake. New handlebar and Stream Ride saddle.

I was struggling with some shoulder issues and could not ride my normal road bike. So I took some older parts and updated my cruiser to be a little more road friendly. The upright position has helped me get back and riding.
i added 700c wheels, 9 speed thumb shifters, and a nice set of 3 piece cranks.

Gorgeous bike though.

Good point, I should probably make sure everything is tight. The fenders do have these weird spoke like stems that connect to the frame; don't have anything to compare it to so not sure if that is normal

My Electra C1, mostly stock except for a Brooks B67 saddle, Sunlite 927 tires, stubby fenders, bike computer to track mileage, bottle cage and an incredibell.
