Tommaso value estimations please ?

Yet another nice vintage bike I’m parting with and wondering the general consensus on value. I’m guessing around $650 but want input.
Tommaso road bike with full Campy, original paint that still has the “Ten Speed Drive Imports” sticker on the seat tube. Mavic Open Pros with Vittoria tires, Brooks saddle. Paint is in very nice shape with a minimal number of very small scratches. The pics pretty much tell the story.

If I were in the market, I would take this over the Mondia you just sold.

"Accept no substitutes!" LOL. I think these low quality imitations are watering down the brand name a bit.

Looks like quite a bit of SR on that bike: headset, crankset, derailleurs, seatppst, brake levers... Are the calipers also SR? And the hubs are Record?

Not crazy about the rims and bars. The saddle looks way out of place. Still, $650 seems like quite a deal for all that and an SLX frameset. Beautiful fork crown. Wish you were local...

...it is true that Super Record parts prices are pretty high on e-bay right now. I don't quite understand why ?
That said, as with the other comment I made on your Mondia, we both live in a place where it's difficult, sometimes, to break the $700 barrier for a local sale on CL.

My guess is that these will probably sell quickly at the prices you are suggesting. But we did just enter the rainy season.
sometimes I think that no one except me buys bikes here in the winter rainy season. So you end up paying a premium for that, too.

I also get the feeling you're not interested in parting and selling these piecemeal. Which I support. Someone will come along (hopefully), who rides this size and will appreciate it.

Tommaso was the house brand of Ten Speed Drive The bicycles were introduced for the 1985 model year and in1988 they added a brand decal to the top tube, so this one should be 1985-1987. The SLX model was marketed as the TLX and with the reduced Super Record group had a price in the $1700-$1800 US range. $650US is not unreasonable.

Sold it yesterday in Sacramento for $700! Need to rid myself of a couple more and the stable will be much more reasonable.

Are big Decals worth the price of admission?
Best, Ben
