I'm not sure I've ever seen a "dork disc" on a Record hub before. I bought an identical bike earlier this week.

Maybe that was a thing back in the day. I bought a early 70s bike from a guy that was like that. He upgraded it in the mid 80s to full Shimano 600.........because he couldn't afford a Campy group at the time. He kept the original parts..........which were full Campy except for first gen Dura Ace brakes.

Ok, thank god that the forks are under review......
The seller's only about 20 minutes from Sedona, and they get enough traveling mountain bikers that I'm sure one of the shops there could box it up for you, if you're seriously interested. Back when I lived nearby, Absolute Bikes did good work for me.

GripShift! Gripshift started out selling shifters for road bikes kinda aimed at the Criterium crowd. hese must be very early because while I sort of remember the clearish ones, I don't recall the bars needing drilled.

BG,
Thanks for the information, looked them up on the web and an interesting take on Barcons, I wonder if twisting was easier than finger shifting...most likely not and that's why they fell out of favor.

CIOCC Super Record Designer 84 Road Bike - Great Condition - $1,500

CIOCC Super Record Designer 84 Road Bike.
A beautiful bike with smokey chrome finished fork, seat, and chain stays. Built with Columbus SLX seamless cold drawn double butted tubing with "beautifully designed investment cast lugs, bottom bracket, and fork crown," as well as quality Campagnolo drop outs.
Frame was handmade in Italy. Paint is a deep gray and is in great shape. The chrome has no pits. A beautiful example of Italian bicycle craftsmanship catalog scans from the 1984 simply state "All CIOCC frame set receive special attention to detail and workmanship.
Every frame is individually handmade and prepared to insure absolutely perfect road handling and efficiency. The design geometry of all CIOCC frame sets is pure Italian road racing while incorporating the features needed by American cycling." These frames were imported by 10 Speed Drive imports exclusively and only sold as frame sets for custom specification. Tubular tires have been replaced, 3 years old, and have not been used. This is a beautiful collection piece either for riding or purely for show.

Measurements:
63cm Seat Tube base to sprocket (25")
Stand over height from ground to top of top tube is 86cm. (34")

Dundee is probably a tire store somewhere. It’d just be interesting to to know where it came from. Maybe I didn’t google hard enough.

Raleigh Professional - Tall Frame - $600 (Norfolk)

Lightweight Raleigh Professional Bike with Carlton Race Proved frame. Campagnolo headset, crankset and derailleur. Stronglight crank.

I was told that this is a Professional when I bought it but bike does not have a sticker.

SN is A7310B found on bottom bracket. Since Raleigh does not have a great sn system I could not make heads nor tails out of this sn.

Wheels are Mavic and require glue on tires.

Seat is a leather Wrights Saddle Co. fron the UK.

Bike needs to be cleaned otherwise good shape.
