1987 Diamondback Ascent, first day of Spring in Wyoming. Bought this one at a thrift store for $7.50.

My recently acquired 1991 Rocky Mountain Blizzard, this on was lightly used, even original tires! I should have put my DX pedals on it though.

Might be able to figure it out via serial number. Check under the BB, inside rear dropouts, or maybe on the side at the bottom of the seat tube...

I am pretty sure now that it is a Mongoose , probably a 1989. I have not been able to find many good 1989 model year photos bu it is vary close to some of the 1988s

WV is not flat..
Picked up this all original 1997 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo today off of marketplace. It was in storage for awhile and hardly ridden. The shock even feels really nice. Should be easy to clean up.

Use the same website to compare your bike to the 1990 catalogue as there are way more MTB options, including the raked fork, that could be your bike.

Not rare or super desirable, but the price was right and for a 1993 bike, it looks like it was just assembled yesterday. Condition is everything. These are rock solid bikes and great for a neighbor that was looking for a campground bike. 1993 Giant Sedona ATX.

If its free, it's for me
Still gotta get my post count up to show some pics but I'm currently riding an (I'm guessing) early to mid '90s Roadmaster Hurricane Ridge. Fully rigid frame and fork, 26 inch wheels, replaced the rusted out derailleur with a Shimano Tourer off a parts bike, and currently just have front brakes working.
No gears, stuck on middle sprocket and smallest rear gear until I get some cable sheath... Bike is pretty damn fast with my big ass on it with no gears so I cant complain. Somebody was throwing it away and the purple frame/lime green stock cables reminded of an old Kawasaki dirt bike so I had to have it lol

I just paid $50 for this 1991 Diamondback Apex. It’s too small for me but I couldn’t resist. Shimano Deore DX and Avenir components. I’ll probably clean it up and regrease it and sell it to a friend for $50 to get her back into bicycling.

Couldn't resist this '89 Bianchi Incline in metallic celeste when I saw it on Craigslist a while back. Basically all original except for the stem and bars, which look like an "original" upgrade made by someone back in the day. Just added a Brooks, racks and bags, and took it out to the abandoned PA Turnpike last weekend. Really fun ride.
(Happy coincidence that my well worn Cambium saddle matched the existing bar wrap too!)
