I've mentioned this guy a couple of times. We Canucks were blessed with the art of Greg Curnoe. He loved cycling and incorporated a lot of it into his wide range of media. Anyone interested in his work can download a wonderful bio from the Art Canada Institute and select download book from the upper right corner of the page. So talented. Yes the forks bent....

This is out there aways, done by my son for my last birthday, his style and sense of humor belies his age he's 27.

Of course I love it and he's working on another.

I thought there was a bicycle in The Cat in the Hat, but Google isn't showing it. There's a bicycle in One Fish Two Fish, but it's a tandem...

Perhaps. But I’m am quite certain the, and I stand corrected on the title, “We got a present for you”, is the dumbest thread of the year. Hands down. I’m embarrassed to have read it.

In that the new ‘early brifter’ sub-forum was created or that we all took offence to it?

No "Biggie Smalls, valves not lined-up, crank arm at 5:00, it's a 'nice'. But at least he removed the bottle and pump for the painting."
Only joking - it's a cool painting!

If this thread is about artistic interpretations of bicycles the I think it’s a great thread.

I thought Duchamp’s take was interesting.

I have this poster. I'm not sure if you can see it, but the rider's toe strap's buckle is on the inside of his shoe, and the strap is run all the way through the buckle instead of being loose for pulling tight. Bothers me every time I look at it.

^^ now that you mention it , I never caught that! I will have to look at the other Eroica posters to see if they are that way. I have gone every year .

Ha, that's funny. It's the dude's hair, in long braids stuck under his armpits, that bugs me. No, on double take, i guess he's got a back pack on or something... but at first glance it looks like a double mullet or something. Must look away.
