Warm here too, and for the next few days. However, the village has already put down a good layer of road salt, so bikes put away till after the spring rains.

since the MTB has it's studs, it's out of commission until it's worth laboring with. the forest trails may be hiding some minimal ice & I like those trails so I may take it out over the next cpl of weeks. it WAS my regular ride ![Not Amused](images/smilies/brood.gif)
the hybrid may come out of hiding cuz I do like the unpaved trails near me
our roads & paved bike trails are completely free of anything resembling winter, meaning frozen precipitation or ice melt products. was going bring the road bike to work today for a spin after work but had to deal with slow air leaks on both Wifey & Daughter's cars. should be able to do the rest of the bike prep tonight for a ride tomorrow nite

I'm waiting for the shortest day of the year. That gives me a boost, thought winter is just beginning. I have my Zwift set up, my fatbike set up, and the gravel bike fenders on if needed. Fingers crossed I ride enough. I do have my saddle pack on the Wahoo Kickr, in case I need to grab a CO2 and freeze a basement spider.

I'd been resisting indoor training for years but I finally succumbed this year. I'll still ride fatbikes or gravel in the cold outside and I swim as well.

That said, if it is freezing or above, I will do everything I can to get out on the frozen or muddy trails on my old MTB rather than stay inside.

Yep. I hate the winter too, as I'd much rather be out in 80 degree, sunlit days. At least with the turbo trainers, I can catch up with all the TV I've missed during the last 8 months.

Or you could get a fat bike and enjoy the real world instead of that fake one on the flat screen. You really missed nothing on TV the last 8 months or 8 years. It's all garbage...which is why I don't subscribe to cable or satellite.

Yep, no cable or satellite for me either. It's OTA or Netflix/PlutoTV/CrunchyRoll/Youtube.

A little off topic but. . . .
Some of us actually winter camp and ski tour for fun, and you don't have to worry about mosquitoes.![Smilie](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Skiing around Crater Lake (Crater Lake National Park) just for fun! My wife and I were backcountry ski patrollers there for over 20 years.
