Happy owner of an M6R and I just purchased the Brompton Tool Kit. I'm wondering about the tire levers. I knew they were now metal, but I'm questioning whether metal levers can or will damage the rims. I haven't had a flat and I'm currently carrying Pedro levers just in case. Overkill? Does anyone have experience with the metal levers that they can share?

FYI...If you're considering the tool kit, REI has it on their web site for $75.00. Still expensive, but much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

They shouldn't cause damage unless used incorrectly. Owner forcing things that shouldn't be forced. Basically tools do not cause damage but their but the tool owner might. Roger
