Campagnolo 50th Anniversary Group - I continue to be confused by the search engine/algorithms on these websites (craigslist, offerup and facebook). I regularly use "campagnolo" as a search term, yet this never came up. Click the posted link and it leads me to an Offerup ad right in my zone. Put "campagnolo" in the offerup search again, it does not come up? "Campagnolo" is in the title and description, location is well within search area, yet no listing. I have had this happen more times than I can count. I find a bike listed as "Vintage Trek" I kinda like, go back to find it (with search terms: trek or vintage or vintage trek) and it is not there, so I assume it is sold. Later I search "suntour" and the Trek reappears, try searching for it again with "Trek" or "Vintage" will not come up? Often find myself trying to remember what search term brought up a specific bike, when it is not any of the likely suspects, like the words in the ad title!

Sent an offer for this groupset at the $1 asking price, fingers crossed I get it!

Is this worth $500, that's what lister is asking not free. Thanks
My first encounter of this model is at the top of cypress mountain during the Eroica ride in April. @Andy_K was with @Random Tandem who rode a Teledyne on his tour from Canada if i remember correctly..

When I posted the ads they both said "free" and there was no price or ask in the description. Facebook, like Offerup, does have a bad way of listing, if you don't put a price it comes up as "Free", but these 2 ads were originally just "free". Not sure when a price got added in? At $500 I probably would not have posted due to my lack of knowledge on bike/value.

Also looks to be "now pending"

Pedersen Bicycle - $3,500
Beautiful Pedersen bicycle. This bicycle is a reproduction of the original Pedersen bicycles produced in Dursley England by Danish inventor Mikael Pedersen. This bicycle belongs to my dad, who has put countless hours of work into it. It is gorgeous with many personal touches and details. It is very comfortable to ride as it utilizes a unique suspension system for the seat. Unfortunately my dad is no longer able to ride two wheeled bicycles, so we have to sell it, in order to purchase a trike. It is currently boxed up and in storage. I am not sure on the sizing, as it is not like your average bicycle. My dad is about 6'2" and it fits him perfectly. The bicycle comes with two rear wheels. One has an internally geared 3 speed Sturmey archer hub, the other has a 6 speed cassette.

At this point the price is firm, as we need the money to buy a bicycle my dad can ride.

Looking for a bike expert we have a racing bike made by jan janssen it's 36 years old great shape.its a Jan Janssen special super tube 220 frame high quality. This bike is expensive racing bike it was custom made. It's been few years I wanna get a expert to look at it tell me the true worth of this bike.i know it's not a cheap bike now it's a vintage need someone to give me true value of this bike ty make offer I know what I want $400 firm.

This Jansen keeps popping up in my FBM searches. My size, somewhat local and fairly interesting. Could be worth every penny of the ask, just not $400 interesting to me.

Any idea what sent this auction so high? I was in it for the Lotus cap, but way over what I'd try to recover from selling the rest. Maybe that sweet Little Ceasars gem?

It's a 60 cm frame and not the GITA we were thinking. Glad it's not a 56cm or I'd be trying to get it shipped."

We were on the way to Bryce Canyon a few years ago and ran across this pair at a gas station. The couple said the same, custom ordered while they lived in Japan in the '80s. I never found much info either, probably need to search in Japanese(Kanji, katakana) as there is no info in English. Nice looking frames though.

I can't see a seam anywhere. All I can think of is that it's overlapped-and-glued, or they moulded it from a tubular-shaped bit of the cow.
