I'm just hoping Narhay has time for his usual entertaining final report.

Hopefully, I have moved back under the radar and Narhay will have pity upon a well-meaning soul.

Well, I rebuilt the wheels of my Clunker PA-10e with original hubs and rims, plus used spokes that needed a little grinding on the rear DS. Then I put on my trusty Brooks Pro, Lg MKS clips and old Christoph straps. Lastly, I got some folding Paselas, installed a Minoura bottle cage, and Voila! My current commuter doing a 40 mile round trip.

I've been meaning to post another update showing what I've done to the Centurion since the challenge ended. I actually did this about two months ago, but I haven't gotten around to sharing the pics until now. This is my first go at lug lining. I used a Sharpie paint pen -- not perfect, but pretty good from a few feet away. I'm afraid if I tried to make it any better I'd be just as likely to make it worse.
