New bike stand day! Yay! I’ve been using an old basic Spin Doctor stand that was pretty good but not for BB work unless I wanted to get down on my hands and knees. I now have this. Bike Tires Direct had them on sale.

This Park Tool Tool Box Seat! The missing piece to my Park Tool wheeled bike stand! I use my Shimano suitcase tool carrier now, but this fits the, “System” perfectly! When I bid on it I thought that it was just a tool box…Quite a few times bigger than I was expecting! I’ll take better pictures later as I’m cleaning and filling it up! I can’t now because the cat’s asleep and if he doesn’t get his 19 hrs he gets grumpy!
In the background is another new extreme clamp that’s headed out to the new, improved, “workshopshed”…once you’ve used one of these clamps it’s hard to go back to the others…

I don’t usually post this thread but….
B17 Imperial - the unusual part is that I was checking Amazon for small parts stuff and ran across this for $91usd, quantity 1 remaining. I ordered, it confirmed. A few minutes later I checked the item price and it was back at $140. I thought $100 including the tax with free ship was a deal.
a decade ago the B17 standard was not a match for me, so the jury is out, but I need the cutout these days.

I’ve been using up a few of the tubulars I bought way back around 2012 and thought I better stick up so they have a little seasoning or aging time. I’ve used Rallys In the past but always the ‘23s, and frankly thought the ‘25s were discontinued. I was surprised to find not on the ‘25s available from bike tires direct but in hemp sidewall for slightly less than the Amazon. I mounted one just to see the size and they do seem noticeably fatter than the ‘23s. Any one have issues with these on tight frames?

An "on principle" ebay score. I'd like to know if the "Platinum" tag means more than "not so shiny"

NOS French thread Campagnolo thin cups.
Being old, I want "geezer" gears for the early seventies Gitane Super Corsa that I'm building up, so I'm putting a Campagnolo (Nouvo)Record triple crank on it.
These things seem to be like "hens teeth".

I was sure there'd be a sticky'd thread in C&V for classic and vintage jerseys and other cool retro cycling kit, but my searching skills could not find it.
I thought we'd have a huge thread by now, so if there is one and I'm being a dufus and just can't find it, please link it here so I can post these there, thanks. I could see one for racing team jerseys but that does not include any non racing classic kit, and a few threads with only a handful of posts and that's it.
But in the absence of the above, fresh in from Italy, I've just got my grubby hands some nice old Cinelli kit.

I measured both the 23 & 25mm to be true to size on these new (unused, but several years old) Rally tubulars.
Green walls? Is that the hemp sidewalls?
On my 'tightest' frame (a lowly Pinarello Record) the 25mm front has several mm to spare. Not sure about your 'tight' bike.

Sorry I don't understand, what new retro ones? is there a new retro thread? I think anything made of lycra should be excluded as being too modern, even if it has a vintage design.
Or are these not old enough for you to be C&V? Wool and acrylic surely qualifies as C&V?
The effing edit function is still on the blink, every time there's any edit the forum fills its draws with brown and messes up the post, so it all needs entering again. I don't whether there's been a forum update or something with Chrome browser but its been like this for weeks for me now and is beginning to really get on my ample bosom.

Or do you mean these are not old enough for you to be classed as C&V<img src="https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/smile.gif" data-cke-saved-src="https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/smile.gif" title="Smilie" alt=""></img>

Sorry, my bad, all good, I have no problem with where we draw the C+V line on most of this. Those are fantastic, great score.

Ahh I get ya, those actually look decent and I'm sure a lot cooler than wool. I'd wear those, but I'm in the UK, and though we had a good hot summer, it was brief, so most of the year woollen jerseys are fine, and as with bikes, rather than spend money on a modern reproduction, I'd always prefer to have an original.
I wore the red one at Eroica and was surprised how well it worked even being fairly warm, I was just about right on the whole ride.
