Honestly, the price is not bad if you ask me.

Assuming that this bike is not yours this post would be better in the eBay / CraigsList finds - "Are you looking for one of these!?" Part II thread in the main part of C&V.

I think this masquerading as something it isn’t. Those chromed stay caps look like a top tier from ‘82 and earlier, however those decals were not used on the top models until ‘84. The components are a bit mixed up. The crank is Gran Sport and RD looks NR, all I can tell about the brakes is they have the wrong adjusters

Its a great looking machine and SL/SP frame but I’m not so sure I’d be ready to turn over $1000 without a real close inspection

Personally I don’t think Specialissma is a model name for most of these as much as it a precursor to the infamous Reparto Corsa

Sorry- don’t really ever post PSAs so I didn’t remember that thread. Mods feel free to relocate.

Too bad about the questionable authenticity. I’ve seen it here locally for a bit. He had it for $1800 (!!!) but recently dropped it to 1k.

As I recall, this has been for sale for quite some time (perhaps a couple of years).
