I'm visiting Sierra Madre at the end of February and wondering if anyone had recommendations for ride routes or C&V bikes to look at in and around the area.

Brother in law has a modern Specialized Allez I will likely borrow for any road riding.

From Slightspeed post ... ride with the Pasadena vintage group, the first Sunday every month. They meet and leave from the Aquatic Center at the extreme south end of the Rose Bowl parking lot at 11 am. About 25 miles with a pizza or sandwich stop at about 15 miles, then mostly downhill home. We usually have 15-25 riders. I didn't take this picture but found myself in the center in the red stripe Legnano jersey. They are a very welcoming group, vintage bikes, vintage riders, everything in between is welcome too. I've heard that The Bicycle Stand shop in Long Beach has a vintage ride too, but have never ridden with them.

The posters on this thread would have many excellent suggestions and vintage bikes to show off https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...sadena-ca.html

Head east towards Santa Fe Damn or Azusa Mountains from there you can head north for climbs or south along the 605 freeways towards Seal Beach.

Santa Fe Dam- the other is just a tinge of social commentary
