Will 1-3/8 tires work OK on my 210? The wheel says 1-1/4

I also rebuilt a 310 that had clearly spent many years out behind a shed. I'm still amazed at how well the paint held up in spite of the neglect. All I had to do was clean it, didn't need wax.

As noted earlier, it appears to me that this bike would allow for 700x35mm tires. The equivalent width for a 27" tires is 27x1 3/8. However, keep in mind that 700c wheels have a slightly smaller diameter, affording you a little more clearance. While 700x35 with fenders would fit, it might be tight. 27x 1 3/8 may fit, but may be too tight. Without fenders they would fit, if not even wider.

Thanks for the input. A little research found that the bigger tire will fit fine on the wheel since it's a clincher tire.

Does the crankset bearing need to be cleaned and re-greased?

I put a cartridge unit in this one, but had I left the original I definitely would have cleaned and re-greased.

Thanks, I'll get it done at a shop.
