It’s raining Colnagos!!!
People used to ask me how I’d find so many cool vintage Vespa (and Lambretta) scooters.
the answer; ride one.
once while getting my weekly 2 gallons of gas, a couple came up and said, “I have one of those in my garage. It was my uncles. It doesn’t run. Want to get it outta my garage?”
Today, while riding the tandem solo, I was approached by an elderly couple who’s knees/hips don’t works like they used too.
A little wine, a little cash and now this:
is it a Mt bike? Or did someone change the bars?

The above post raises so many questions...
What are you doing riding a tandem solo? I mean we all do it sometimes, but inquiring minds and all that.
Are you joking? I think you can figure that one out.

I was riding to meet a friend who had all the battery operated lights for the annual LOUD & LIT bike ride.
At least 4 yelled, "hey, you lost your friend"

OK, this I know. The Colnago 1988XL originally had drop bars. It came with a choice of mid-level campy or Shimano.
That is all I can find out about this model.
Any Colnago experts know about this 1988XL biz?

a Colnago 1988XL with a non colnago fork.
Honestly, It was much much cheaper this way.
