Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? That's just it, if they post then they are admitting that they are aware of the thread. Without posting, they can always claim they haven't seen the thread... "Your Honor, there really are a lot of threads on our website, there's no way we could see every one of them..."

I forgot to thank you for the stencil! Also, * jack * gets all the credit for Andréizing your stencil. I just printed it out, rubber-cemented it to some 3x5 cards, and basked in your reflected glory.

What are the implications?

This reminds me a little about lynching in the American South; authorities were either accomplices or they did not stand in front of the lynching mob.

So far no crime has been commited here. Someone made a picture of himself public, someonelse did not like it, and a lot of people decided to wrestle the offending picture to the ground. No one here has inflicted any harm other than ridicule a certain person that willingfully made his name and semblance public. No person here whatsoever snatched a picture from a restricted storage, neither went to the said person's dumpster to capture his name or something.

He wanted his 15 minutes of fame - do you want to be famous on the cheap? - someone will make you really famous really fast.

"Ridicule is a weak weapon when pointed at a strong mind; but common people are cowards and dread an empty laugh".
Martin Tupper - British 19th century poet

I think the only crime here is that the thread is still going. It had its moments for sure, but it lost its way a while back.
