Here's a $200 Legend in greater Seattle.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...645706504.html
This might be the best deal currently on my local Craigs.

I'm pretty sure he would negotiate if one desires.

Edit - not likely to be much in the way of "Bargins" estate sale company has a "bike guy" that did the pricing, supposedly between $250 and $1,200?
Estate sale in San Pedro, CA starts tomorrow, quite a collection, no indication on pricing. The Trek clearly sized at 60cm, not sure if they are all the same?
https://www.estatesales.net/CA/San-Pedro/90731/3751242
And a Klein Quantum Race in white, threadless stem. 10 pic limit.

That pink Lotus has been on my mind but the logistic is keeping me from pursuing it besides that fact that i can't walking around the house without tripping on a bike or bicycle part . I also realized that the bay area and PNW are rich with vintage bikes and i have a nice connection there if i need help. So, for now just looking for smoking deals and confine the search areas to the left coast. I should deactivate my BF account or have the URL block is the sensible thing to do.

The other question I would have is why does the rear rim look so much more worn than the front.
He didn't take pics of the top tube, which looks a little beaten up.
Not sure I know Tom. In the title, it says Renton but the map shows Bellevue.

Wow. My ideal size. Been trying to learn more about the purchase of a used Cinelli, and this comes far below what I would think a frameset would go for. Might just be my lack of knowledge of the upper crust vintage bike world, though.
Any glaring issues on this one? Original paint? Able to nail down a date? So much I don't know. But I'd love to grab something like this, if even just have to compare to the Huffy
Don't know if it's still available. But...any facilitators available in So Cal?
EDIT: So, roughly '77 from a basic search on feature changes throughout the years? After the top tube cable braze-ons in '77, and before the move to a headtube logo decal in '78?

here's one way to deal with having too many bikes - park a school bus on you property!
Twin Falls, Idaho - 1 bike or package deal - https://twinfalls.craigslist.org/bik...645854824.html

the Columbus sticker is far newer than the era that the Cinelli decals are from
the seat cluster is not typical for a Supercorsa
the paint on the fork doesn't match the frame
dropouts are a much more modern type than you'd expect from early 1970s

This was easy, whatever it is, its pretty nice but certainly not a Cinelli, seller obviously knows as the price is to good to be true for a real one.

Ahh, see this is BF at its best, taking care of its own. Thank you.
Sure enough, when looking at, specifically, a 1977 Cinelli Super Corsa, the seat cluster is completely different, and the head badge on the legit one is the flat stamped metal for that vintage, whereas this one looks like the older embossed one, which makes no sense given the other later changes like the braze-ons. Good catch. And yea, you can plainly see that 'Made in Italy' sticker on the downtube is covering over the natural patina and scuff from the from brake adjuster damage on the side of the tube. AND the Cinelli logo looks too far down the tube. I thank Drillium Dude for hammering into me logo placement
This must be why I stick with Huffys lol Nobody is ever going to counterfeit a *true* Huffy, and if someone was actually insane enough to do so, your counterfeit would probably end up as a way nicer bike than the genuine article
Shark-infested waters, this upper echelon bike market is.

No expert by any means but know enough to be dangerous, especially to myself.
This clown is a total tool, lucky I'm not close by, we would be having a "fun" conversation in person after I wound him up.
Funny thing is, that frame may be worth the ask for whatever it really is but not as a fake.
There was a "Strawberry" in Seattle a week or so ago, reached out to the seller and it sold before I could get some more questions answered.
Andy at Strawberry confirmed it wasn't one as I suspected so I told the seller after the fact just FYI, he wasn't happy and argued for a bit so that was fun.

No worries, having recently taken a BIG hit on a crappy real one, I am even more hyper sensitive about these.

PM me if you facilitating.... I don't live to far from Irvine. I can pick up ship if you decide to buy it. I can do a quick visual when pick up or do a face time call if needed at pickup for any last minutes discoveries or decisions. You can communicate with the seller, finalize you deal and let me know i can facilitate after that. Good luck.
