Everton Step Through

A buddy dropped off a couple of frames and a bunch of wheels last week. One frame was Raleigh mixte Record Ace in name only and in 20-30. This one will probably find a new home. The other frame is interesting. It's an Everton step through from Denmark in a nice orange color. I wish I'd taken better pictures before I put it in the garage attic. All I found out is that the brand was founded after WW2, changed hands a few times, and is now owned by Cycleurope. Anybody know more?
It's got a heck of a head badge.

The only other graphic on the frame.

Rear spacing is 110mm and in the whack o' wheels was one complete 650A wheel set with an F&S 415 3 speed hub and Semperit tires. I swear the rims are stainless. Anyway, as I have the shifty bits for the hub, I'm thinking this may become a runabout for my wife and I to take along in our trailer. We'll see.

Interesting. I purchased a Mercian mixte with 110 mm rear spacing from the UK. It will be a winter project which I planned to ride on the Lake Pepin 3speed Tour in Minnesota next spring. Unfortunately the paint is nowhere as nice though the Mercian on the down tube appears to be painted and is in decent shape.

The 3 Speed Tour on this also crossed my mind.
