I bought the frame and fork from consignment and built it out from there. Shimano 600 tri color crank and derailleurs. Shimano 105 7spd index downtube shifters. Shimano 600 brake levers (new hoods) and 5000 brake calipers. New Charge saddle. All new cables and housing. New bottom bracket. Time period appropriate quill stem, handlebars, and seatpost.New EVO wheelset and 28mm tires.
I have tested this bike the last months with rides around town pulling my kiddo in a chariot, riding up and down the canyons (going 40!), and running errands. It’s a lovely ride. Time to sell so I can move onto the next build. This Triumph is my 13th rebuild and once I sell then allows me to move onto my next. Please feel free to ask any questions.
For reference: 700c wheels, 1' threadless steerer/ head tube, 27.2 seat post, 28.6 clamp-on front derailleur, English threaded bottom bracket, rim brakes. 100x9qr front 126x9qr rear axle widths, mechanical group compatible.
I'm asking $1,000 but ask questions, come see/ride it, make an offer.
