Medici Gran Turismo custom?
Hi all, just scooped this Medici Gran Turismo that is in incredible shape with a phil wood wheel set. It looks like most most of the Gran Turismo examples I could find online dont come with canti studs, the double downtube water bottle mounts or rack studs on the fork. Does anyone know why this one might? or have seen other Medici's Gran Turismo's with similar configurations?

That is a great looking machine. Looks like a serious touring rig

uncommon, but not unprecedented.
Especially if one visited and ordered from them direct.
Looks decent.
Great color

post pics , always nice to see a Medici ! They are underrated but very nice bikes. I sold my “too small for me” Pro Strada earlier this year . Not to worry , I’m building a “right sized “ replacement now. Joe

The only person to make money on a Medici was Ray Dobbins, his went overseas to France. Who often applaud scoundrels.

I think I broke even on mine! Not counting the hours of cleaning and maintenance, but I got to enjoy it for a few years .

Mike Howard, of Medici, was able to verify Medici's at one time, he confirmed this one below was 1980. A wonderful bike. Had 2 water bottle boss sets on the down tube, but not mantis, nor a front fork rack boss. Very nice riding bike, commuted on it for years, sold it when I no longer commuted. GT's originally came with painted to match Blumel fenders and Silca pump.
