I got my neighborhood(?) cruiser back running so cruised the neighborhood. The wall art from businesses in my neighborhood is amazing. Am I overdoing the "neighborhood" routine? Yes - it is fixed...

As per other single speed/fixed bikes, already posted on another thread, so let's add it here too, after all it has single cog at rear
1950s something, form a, well a bike shop in Exeter, England, where frames were sourced according to a former employee from the Les Ephgrave's establishment. Still researching the provenance though.

I had this old frame
I’ve this old frame upstairs in my garage for several years.
I don’t know why I pulled the bottom bracket out of it , but I ordered a replacement when I decided to build it back .
Got spray bombed satin black , so I’m not sure of the make .
The frame feels light for steel.
Most of the parts , I already had . The wheels were an extra set I’d ordered for my Rockhopper, but never used much .
Went with a 30 tooth chainring and an 18 tooth rear cog , which has become my standard for SS . If it were flatter around here I’d go with a 16 rear .
Bike rides like a dream . I spin out a little over 12mph , plenty fast enough for me and I’m able to climb the hill in front of my house around 9.5-10mph . When I was riding multi geared , I would be 5mph at the top .
Just an old bike for an old man who’s enjoying riding SS .

Wheel options
In addition to State Bicycle wheelsets, you may also want to consider Wabi Cycles. I’m thinking about getting one of their lightweight wheelsets.

This project started 13 yrs ago w/ this carbon triathlon frame. Built w/ Campy, Deda & Profile Design parts along w/ vintage Zipp carbon rims & Easton carbon fork. Unique “bullet” brake levers. Couple of yrs ago, put her on a mag trainer & used for knee replacement PT recovery.

This project started 7 yrs ago w/ a Retrospec coaster brake folder. Upgrades were installed as original parts began to fail. Currently, only the frame, fork, folding stem, handle bars & seatpost are original. I pretty much ride this bike and my other folder (Dahon Mu P8) majority of the time.

I am running 700x38 on my Mash Work frame from 2017? I think, possibly could fit wider but hadn't tried yet. I wanted enough clearance for any mud or such if I ride it off road and also am running canti brakes.

I found this frame in an Ebay Annonce and bid on it, finally i got it quite cheap. It must be a 80-90 years old frame from an unknown Brand, i liked the look of the crank. The frame is completely rusty, it looks like it has been sleeping in a river for 30 years or so. When it arrived i thought to build my idea of a Fixie / SS, look at the result...

swapped out cranks. My LBS has a set of half price All City 165mm 46t
the other set I was using I think are fire a fat bike. Not something I’m familiar with. Until now…

frame was a complete disaster off the local FB Market Place. $30
stuck seat post. Stuck bottom bracket. Dinged down tube. Origin8 Fix8.
the fork is a Mission Bike fork. Got it uncut unpainted for $70.
The original plan was a cheap beater build… fail.
the reach is a little far. If my son likes it we’ll swap the bars if needed.
If he doesn’t like it the parts go to a better frame.
