Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New bike day

I honestly could not be more in love with how this bike turned out

Reserve 40/44s with Reserve fillmore valves
30c Grand Prix 5000 s tr
Enve aero handlebars
Galfer 160mm rotors
Wahoo speedplay pedals
Ultegra 11/34 12 speed cassette
Framesandgear computer mount( much better quality than the one that comes with the bike)
Fizik Argo Tempo R1 saddle

Total bike weight was 17.6 ounces. I thought it'd be lighter but then I am coming from a 21 lb bike so I'm happy

An aero bike for just over a pound? yeah, I can see why you'd be a little disappointed .... at least it looks really good.

17.6oz for a bike, I wonder how much that would cost!

Joking aside, great looking bike. Any plans on removing that high stack of spacers between your stem and frame at some point?

I appreciate it!
And yes I meant pounds obviously lol

Yes I scheduled a bike fit for next week. I left them on so he can remove them as needed and I'll just go back to the shop to get it adjusted again.

I don't cross chain. It wasn't fully setup here and I hadn't pedaled at all. This picture was taken before it was thrown back on the work stand to make sure it was shifting properly.

I'm surprised the DI2 allows for the chain to be in such setup.

Congrats on the New Bike
Awesome looking bike and I love these lightweight all around aero bikes.

Also, this is proof that stacks of spacers on a beautiful bike does not matter aesthetics wise. Got into a debate on another thread about this and while I think Cannondale goes a tad overboard more so than other companies with their included spacers, IMO if this is what OP feels comfortable on this takes nothing away from this being a great bike.
