B1 Weblite cross/MTB

New ride in the stable: (Batavus) B1 Weblite cross/MTB from around 2000. B1 was part of Dutch Batavus, as the more 'sporty' branch. I believe this bike to be a bit higher up in the hierarchy. I really like the ride, as the bike is quite light. The specs:

Frame: alu number 8461448
Group: Shimano Deore LX (M570) 3x9 speed
Crank/pedals: Shimano FC-MC19, 170 mm
Brakes: Magura HS33 hydraulic
Fork: Manitou Spyder R, TPC sport
Steering: Kalloy Uno, alu
Headset: Tioga Alchemy 25.4 mm alu
Hubs Deore, Pro M-50 explorer rims, Schwalbe Rocket Ron 26x2.10
Saddle: pen Kalloy 30.8 mm alu, Gippiemme B11 Xtreme

Interesting build specs for sure, and a very nice pearl orange finish.

Hopefully the suspension fork's "TPC" (twin piston chamber) damping is still in the game, would be great, and with such low usage, a possibility.

I've almost always appreciated the chainring protectors on the bikes that had them still in good condition.

So near pristine! I'd have a hard time getting that one muddy.
Those Magura hydraulic rim brakes were never very common in my part of the world. Did you see many in The Netherlands?

Thanks! The fork is working excellent! Like a warm knife through butter.

Hi Brent! No, Magura is sparse here. Quite amazing, as they do a very good job. Luckily the rubber blocks weren't used a lot and I can use them for quite some time to come. To mud or not to mud, that's the question!
