My Group Ride: A Cautionary Tale

It's a 3.3 mile continuous loop, that's why the mileage numbers don't look like they make sense.

Seriously. I was on my Trek 750 7-speed hybrid, he was on one of those large (36"?) wheeled unicycles going >25mph on flat ground, and try as I might I could not catch him. It was sobering.
Did any of youze guyze buy the R600DuraAce t-shirts when the BF 41 produced them? I had one, wore it to a New York Cycle Club event once ...and someone came up to me because he recognized Victor from the face on the shirt!

I just realized that in a few days is the "fourth Sunday of the month!"
Sadly, probably more of an individual time trial than a group ride.

The great thing about being a casual rider is that you dont have to CONFORM to ANY of the rules "real cyclist" claim you have to. Simply ride any bike or trike the way you want to, wearing anything you want to, at any speed you want, at any cadence you want. Simply enjoy riding.

Story is, when John Prine and Steve Goodman wrote You Never Even Call Me By My Name, a parody of a country song, they were drunk from a cocktail they'd mixed in their hotel room sink, consisting of everything from the minibar.
Seems OP has put together the quintessential BF parody post, which makes me wonder if a cocktail was involved.
