I like! Great when a rider takes a bike to suit their style.
With the extensions, do you experience some flex in the stem?
My Shaulbe tires are finally wearing out on my Mercier Mini-Velo so I’m looking at those Conti tires to try next.

Thanks, fun ride! With regards to the stem, no flex w/ mini extensions. The pads are for my wrists so, not much force can be exerted on the stem.

Those Continental Sport Contact aren't very good, I would advice to use the newest Continental Contact Urban that are faster, stronger and last longer.

I’ve got the Urbans on my other folder (Dahon Mu). They ride smoother & are durable but the Sports on this bike are a better fit on the slimmer profile of the Velocity rims (much more aero). Thanks for the input though.

Saddle side story
Involved in a somewhat serious collision @ the end of a workout ride during the pandemic. As you can see, my ass tweaked to hell my original saddle. They didn’t have a replacement in black so, settled for a grey of the same model.

Solid axle to quick releases
To assist with wheel removal for flat fixes (luckily yet to experience w/ this bike), replacing the solid axles and flanged nuts to hollow axles and quick releases.
Front wheel was pretty straightforward but, the rear wheel had a coaster brake to deal with and the hub spacing is 120mm. The supplied rear axle in the change kit was for a 135mm hub so, had to cut the rear axle and clean, grease & reassemble the brake assembly. The brake arm was really cranked on so had to have a LBS loosen that side.

Kind of a mixed bag day. Thanks to my LBS for loosening the over tightened brake arm nut.
Bearings & races, brake shoes & hub were cleaned & lubed. When reassembling the rear hub w/ the hollow axle, the threading was not compatible. Side by side, the solid axle threads did not appear to differ from the hollow axle’s but the brake “cone” would not screw on. With the front axle, threaded bearing cups & nuts from the conversion kit were used so there were no issues. Need to find a compatible threaded hollow axle preferably 120mm long, Anyone out there come across this problem?
Positives for today, front end is now quick release, front & rear hubs along with coaster brake have been cleaned and lubed and SDSU moves on to the 2nd round in March Madness. Go Aztecs!

Can you share where you found this? Looks much nicer than the Park Tool single speed spanner.

The final fix for flat servicing has been installed. Got a pr of 10-32 knurled nuts and a 5/8” 10-32 set screw to secure the coaster brake arm. The Wrencho tool for the rear axle nuts & the quick release on the front has resolved this worry.
