A pair of socks is always good and especially worth it if buying them gets you free shipping. I buy tires in sets of three tires because I find that the front tire lasts (at least) as long as two rear tires.

Sorry man, I had to....
I saw where Osprey had a new design on the bladder making it easier to deal with including a much improved quick connect hoses for the 1.5L pack I use when It gets hot so it's basically like having 4 bottles. I like this pack, very light and breathable, does not make me over heat, but I hate that to just clean it, not a deep clean, just a post ride, you had to completely remove the hose from the routing. I never think about looking for this until I start using it in the warmer months, and I broke it out today, so I looked, saw it, very happy, ordered. I should be good now.

Have you seen the new checkpoint yet? Saw an article it was released an Unbound but I have yet to see pictures. More aero tubing one piece cockpit improved iso. Says internal routing, last time I checked mine has internal routing.

No I have not, but I was told there was one in the works by the dudes at the shop. Mine is internal, but I have AXS, so the only thing running to the back is a single brake hose. I am not a fan of the one piece bar and stem just due to my goofy reach issues, so I will keep with separate bar and stem. Maybe the SLR was updated more geared to the racing scene. I did noticed that the generation I have, the SLR did not have the number of mounting locations like the SL has, which is why I opted for the SL frame. Cost wise frame only, they were not that far apart, maybe 5-600 hundred if I recall... been a while since I looked.

Only want the one piece for my emonda to match my madone. I like how the madone fits.

Yea I think they are going to be doing away with the Emonda, and just make the Madone lighter and more aero and rename it. I saw something on that on Thursday.

My madone is right at 16.9 pounds SLR stock without pedals, I wonder how much more lighter this new one is.

I can't imagine it will be too much lighter, might be able to shave some grams off by making the tubes smaller in the back, possible 2 to 300 maybe. You are running Shimano 12 speed right? Red lost some weight, so if they are shaving some material off the seat stays and chain stays along with Red's weight savings, could get you close to 16 to 16.2.

XT brake on the MTB (from sram level tlm). Maybe some lighter carbon wheels for it in the short to medium term.
Outside of that I'm pinching my pennies for a new TT rig, currently on an old Felt DA2 with a sloppy front end. I'm thinking a Trinity. I wanna get a new fitting on it too, so all together it's a big expense, not happening for another 1 year at least, probably 2. Maybe I'll convince my wife to let me go race Valley of the Sun again afterward. I placed 3rd overall GC in the Men's 35+ 1-3 last year, and have room to improve on my TT.

I see from your location that you're actually from the Valley of the Sun! Great race out there, and it's been well worth the drive from San Diego the 5 or so times I've done it. Went to an ASU hockey game last time I was out there on Saturday night - who knew they had quality ice hockey in southern Az!

Bike Wall Hooks
As part of a full garage cleanup, repaint and remodel…bought some cool wall brackets to get all the bikes off the floor and onto the walls… plus ditched all the maddening ceiling-mount bike-hook pulleys.
