Another of my blue bikes. I have had this 1976 Supercycle Excalibur (Bridgestone/Kabuki) for a long time but someone recently contacted me and asked if me if I would consider selling it. I am considering it.

It seems that a lot of people think May and February are interchangeable. Well, that's OK; we get more nice pictures that way.

1974 Schwinn Paramount P15-9, size 24". Just finished the restoration. It was quite non-stock to begin with. I got rid of the suicide levers and downtube shifters, all cables are new including barcon wires.
You are looking at a frame that is touched up in about 50 places, folks! On my maiden voyage I crashed it and scuffed up the brand-new looking brake levers !!!!

This isn't a blue bike, but it has some blue. I actually raced it on the track in 2014 though I had to remove the brake to do so.
1971 Raleigh Pro Track
I bought it as a frame/fork and built it up with a hodge-podge of components.

Almost as many blue bikes last year as in 2022
1984 Cannondale ST400 Just the second year that Cannondale was building bikes. Metallic blue-green
1987 Cannondale SR600 with SR500 (105) component group.
"Turn of the Century" Colnago Aluminum Reflex Dream. Columbus Altec2 Pro shaped aluminum tubing and mostly Campy Chorus 10sp components. Famous for developing cracks in the frame tubes.
1993 Serotta Colorado Legend Tri 650c Colorado Concept tubing

1972 Paramount P-13. This is actually not a stock Schwinn color; every color from that year was insipid, so I had the painter use the Gios blue.
Painted Gios blue. I did not like any of the stock Paramount colors and wanted something that helped the decals pop.
By comparison this was roughly the original color.
All I can say about this is *ugh*.

Technically a 'different' bike than the one I posted last year (found a larger frame that fits better, moved all the bits over). '72 PX-10, 650B conversion.

I swear, I don't go looking for blue bikes, but somehow they keep finding me. Whenever I acquire another bike that isn't blue, a blue bike falls into my lap to even things out. I just got this frame and have been too busy with family stuff to even wipe it down. It is the sixth blue bike in my possession.
1977 Univega Gran Rally?
Also this week, I received a bike from my brother-in-law that he found while cleaning out an old building. It is a skip-tooth, balloon tire, step-through frame, and also happens to be blue, upping the count to seven! I haven't gotten a picture of it yet.
