I used to go to the T-Town track once or twice a year for road rides and/or swap meets. One time there was a rider wearing a Penn State kit. Her thighs were scary huge. She looked mutated. I had a hard time imagining her being able to walk normally.

After I spent almost 4 months on a tour, I rode to the beach with some friends. I took off my shirt and was wearing swim trunks that were not long. Three young women laughed at my stark tan lines. (Imagine a human black and white cookie.) I didn’t give a damn. I was proud of the lines I had earned.

I find it weird that we are supposed to pretend that guys who can't see their own belt buckle when they look down, or women who are obviously morbidly obese, are normal and attractive, when fifty years ago slender was a prerequisite for handsome and beautiful. Wtf happened to our culture? Or is that a question for Politics and Religion? Is obesity a political statement? Is food a new religion? Did someone hold all the fat people down, put a funnel in their mouths, and shove food down their throats with a stick? I don't think so.
