I used to look like E-bike guy, now I look like road bike guy but with bigger arms and a lot less hair. Gravel guy needs to put down the beer.

It’s a trite meme the OP must have stumbled upon and thought he could get some mileage out of.

Mileage ? I know that I'm old, fat, and stoopid but it still hurts when I don't know WTF someone is taking about.

Where's the touring bike guy? I'd stick him/her between the roadie and the MTB guy.

And what about the track/velo racer? Instead of the big gut you're going to have to flip him/her upside down and show the well-developed "super thighs."

I used to go to the T-Town track once or twice a year for road rides and/or swap meets. One time there was a rider wearing a Penn State kit. Her thighs were scary huge. She looked mutated. I had a hard time imagining her being able to walk normally.

Oh. I get it. You're trying to be sarcastic instead of acknowledging that you thought you had come up with something novel but had really exhumed a necro-meme that isn't funny.

if sexy legs are not a part of cycling's benefits, then:

it's one, two, three what are we cycling for
don't ask me I don't give a dam, next stop is Stravaland
and it's five, six, seven calibrate your power meter
this ain't no time to question why, whooopee
the mods rule this site.

I miss the days when tan lines were just as important as KOMs and town line sprints.

How said is it that I know all the original lyrics to that song?

Amen! I remember when I was so proud of mine.

After I spent almost 4 months on a tour, I rode to the beach with some friends. I took off my shirt and was wearing swim trunks that were not long. Three young women laughed at my stark tan lines. (Imagine a human black and white cookie.) I didn’t give a damn. I was proud of the lines I had earned.

I find it weird that we are supposed to pretend that guys who can't see their own belt buckle when they look down, or women who are obviously morbidly obese, are normal and attractive, when fifty years ago slender was a prerequisite for handsome and beautiful. Wtf happened to our culture? Or is that a question for Politics and Religion? Is obesity a political statement? Is food a new religion? Did someone hold all the fat people down, put a funnel in their mouths, and shove food down their throats with a stick? I don't think so.

Back in ‘01 I took a ride to the festival site during a long weekend cycling event based in Port Jervis, NY. Pretty neat. I hear there has been a lot of development up there since then.
