Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We did the same in March of last year. This year's trip will end on our 21st wedding anniversary, and we've booked the same week for next year.

I'll be taking my gravel bike with 2 sets of wheels - one with 32mm road tires, one with 40mm gravel tires. I'm hoping to get in at least 3 rides.
Well it seems we share an anniversary. We’ll be celebrating 33.

the simple fix would be to just turn the heat down a little bit.

I know I've said it before, but I hope stuff gets dialed in soon.
This was not even both barrels. I could have gone off but like Velo Vol I have self control.

A vacation with a wedding stuffed into the middle of it is not really a vacation.

I think it can be if you're only attending the wedding, not involved in it.

It's a problem for your timeline where I'm citing tweets in college years before Twitter existed.

I am not concerned about the timelines of fictional characters.

Today is graduation day at USC. Heidi is allowed to the ceremony but she will not be awarded her degree yet. We have to wait for administration to address these silly charges against her and we have no idea how long that process takes.

The “big” graduation ceremony is canceled but her school (School of Cinematic Arts) will have its ceremony in the Shrine Auditorium which is not even technically on campus so her “ban” from campus would not even be a barrier. It’s still a mess but we are trying to stay positive.

All I got from wrapping leather bar tape on a customer's bike was a really poor opinion of the stuff.
