Couple of days ago I posted two sunset photos. Early Saturday morning (2am) I walked back to the location of the first one to see if I could see the aurora. Lots of light pollution here, but at least there are no streetlights near the MUP where it passes through the marsh. Naked eye it was hard to see, but a 1 second exposure with my Canon R5 revealed this:
Been playing with the Photoshop clone tool and generative AI to try to get rid of the power lines, but everything seems to leave some visible artifacts. So I'm leaving it.

Got less than 10 miles on the bike today, but I also paddled about 4 miles in my kayak this morning. A fun day!

I have some fairly involved surgery coming up around the middle of the month. I'm going to try to get 300 miles before then. With several early morning appointments before then I'm not sure if I'll make that or not. I'm guessing I'll be off the bike for 6 weeks.

Matt, if you are reading this, just wanted to send well-wishes your way. Hope you are back on your feet (errr, bike) soon.
