NuVinci/Enviolo Grip Shifter getting slippery in the rain. Friction tape, or what?
Hi. I've been using a NuVinci hub on my Douze V2 cargo bike pretty much daily for five years. The grip shifter was always a little slippery when wet in the rain, but in the last year or so it has worn down to the point where it's pretty difficult to turn (keep in mind, if you're not familiar with them, that the NuVinci/Enviolo shifter moves way more cable and therefore needs to be turned much further than a grip shifter with a derailleur).
What would you use to improve my grip on the shifter when wet? Friction tape? Something else?
