Vintage Bicycle Commercials

Is it possible the Huffy Aerowind commercial isn't the best bike commercial ever made? The world may never know...

Plus he looked really unsteady when he was riding that bike at the end of the commercial.

Oh to be back in 1985 again - no disc brakes, no suspension, no dropper seat posts, no carbon fiber, and riding in lycra. That was mountain biking my friends, that was true mountain biking.

I like how in the Evel Kneivel ad his lips don't really move when he says his name. It's as if he's just telepathing it into your feeble brain.

I don't get why some people really want to turn everything that moves into a car. Like maybe it would actually be nice to not hear a roaring engine while you ride your tricycle?

The Drakkar ad is wild, and the Taco Bell is a window into B-side 80s advertising.

someone here has the sign-off tag, "I'm the guy that sent Greg LeMond to get tacos"

I always thought it was humorous on its own, like what a random thing to say….

Not knowing there was an actual GL Taco Bell ad.

Thanks for sharing.

Robert, who grew up with Taco Time. Never heard of Taco Bell until the 2000s
