That is a beautiful bike. Someone either reaslly loved or never saw much use. The most important thing is....what size is it and does it correctly fit you?

No it's not a DB. It's a Kabuki, made by Bridgestone, somewhere around mid 1970s. It's a very nice bike, nicely finished, with top of the line parts. Kabukis were typically lower end. This one is not. If it fits, go for it.

I still have my Diamond Formula . It was the first light weight bike I owned and I bought it new . I have many miles on it . They are a great bike . The Kabuki bikes are almost all low end machines but the Diamon Formula , Road and touring are decent and they ride well. Not sure of the value because this market is bad right now and this is a brand that most identify with lower end bikes. If it fits your size and the price is good , I don’t think it would disappoint. Never had one, and have no idea how they ride, but that’s a gorgeous bike in pristine condition. And the beautiful Cinelli saddle is worth a nice chunk of change on its own.

My memory is failing me but I had an identical frame back in the late 70’s, Japanese manufacture, mine came with full 1st generation Dura-Ace with a Crane rear derailleur. It was a house brand from NORCO a Canadian distributor.

This bike looks to be on par with the mid-70s Centurion Semi-Pro with its long, pointy, chrome lugs. If this is a valid comparison, I’d normally say $275-$325 for a nice one, however this one is really nice. IMO, could be worth more around $400.

It's nice that it also has the matching SR detailed seat post which is worth a big chunk of money also. The detailed stem and post are a nice touch and with a little bit of black detail paint to show off the details would look great.
